The A5 Series Airflow Containment System is an essential component to effectively upgrade your cabinet from low-density to medium-high density computing. As a key component in the development of medium and high-density computer rooms, the airflow containment system can effectively improve the utilization rate of air conditioning in traditional cabinets, save power output, improve safety performance, and effectively prevent the short circuit of cold air mixing used to cool the equipment in the cabinet. Generally, there are 5 main components of the airflow containment system: airflow containment channel door (can be rotated and translated double-open, automatic door closing), channel airflow containment system skylight (movable), airflow containment matching components for the gap between the channel cabinet and the air conditioner, 1U~2U unit blind plate for airflow containment on the front of the cabinet, airflow containment closure plate for the upright bone column, LED intelligent lighting and top airflow containment intelligent control system.

Designed to maximize the predictability, capacity, and efficiency of cooling at the rack, row, or room level, the Hot and Cold Airflow Containment System is an intelligent cooling solution that improves the efficiency of the cooling system while protecting critical IT equipment and personnel. Hot and cold airflow containment systems can be used to provide intelligent communication to airflow containment refrigeration systems to ensure the right amount of cold airflow to match the load on IT equipment, reduce fan energy consumption compared to traditional cooling systems, and accommodate different rack heights, aisle widths, and rack depths to support hot or cold aisle airflow containment.

The project includes: airflow containment components on the channel side, airtight doors at the front and back ends of the channel, fire-fighting linkage openable airtight passage doors, environmental monitoring, customized airtight components for special environments on site, etc., and the implementation of cold aisle machine room engineering.

According to the use needs of cold aisle sunroof components, there are three types of fixed sunroof, movable sunroof, and functional sunroof to choose from, active/fixed sunroof: 12V electromagnetic magnetic lock, magnetic closure, power off and demagnetization, with real-time monitoring function of sunroof status, centralized power supply and control by the central control unit. The active skylight window is opened through the linkage function, which can be automatically opened according to the linkage signal provided by the computer room anti-epidemic, the induction opening time is not more than 1s, the opening angle is 85 degrees, and the total area of the cold aisle of the active skylight is not less than 70%, which meets the fire protection requirements in the channel.


※ According to the type of skylight, the net height of the cold aisle after the movable skylight is opened is greater than 2.0 meters or more will not affect the opening of the cabinet door, and will not interfere with each other, so as to ensure the safety of daily maintenance work and maintenance personnel.

※ A movable door is set between the head and end of the column to form a closed space, so that the cold air flow can effectively enter the equipment. The movable door is a sheet metal clad tempered glass door, and the transparent material conforms to the national standard of GB15763.2-2005 "Safety Glass for Construction".

※ The movable door of the cold aisle is designed to be normally closed, and the door has a buffer sealing device to provide better protection. Install the sliding handle, open the door has a good feel and sliding feeling, there is no jamming and shaking, and the tightness of the door and the cabinet frame is tight.

※ There are a variety of supporting options for cold aisle end doors: steel frame inlaid with 5 cl glass opening and closing doors, 10 cl tempered all-glass sliding doors without gates, 10 cl tempered all-glass sliding doors with doors, and all doors can choose manual and electric doors.

※ The reserved port of the cold aisle sealing system is linked with the overall fire protection of the computer room, and the movable skylight can be automatically opened according to different forms of fire signals in the computer room to eliminate the danger in the channel.

※ All unit components of the cold aisle sealing system adopt unique good wear resistance, corrosion resistance, fine processing, integral stamping forming, high reliable contact, and the unit opening life test is more than 5000 times, which is safe and durable without loosening phenomenon to ensure the tightness of the air flow output.

※ Each metal part of the cold aisle sealing system is grounded to realize the overall grounding, and the grounding can be connected to the grounding copper bar of the equipment room through the grounding lead wire on the grounding copper strip.
